This is my AWESOME, LOVING, SUPPORTIVE, RIDICULOUSLY COOL HUSBAND.
He is ALL MAN. Especially when surrounded by florals and weird statues.
Inspired by all things colorful, crazy and vintage with punk rock twists lately…
And going back to school again after FAR too long of a hiatus. This semester, I’m enrolled in Fashion Illustration II, and Pattern Drafting Procedures… BOTH of which have an added 6 hours of homework to my week. Opening my arms up to fantastic progress in stuff that I LOVE… and SO EXCITED for possibilities. LIFE IS OPENING UP. And though some doors have closed recently for me, my life is better without the baggage; I am OPEN FOR BETTER. And I have narrowed my direction to THEATRICAL COSTUMING. I LOVE EVERY ERA, and think this is the most lucrative, fun and challenging way to channel my passions.
HERE’S TO MORE. 😀
I have dreams of my three little girls doing crazy shiz like this one day…
Attended church for the first time in a year (it’s COMPLICATED), but had fun dressing up!!
Vintage 60’s Polyester Shift Dress: Thrifted from D.I., Vintage Black Wicker Sailor/Boater Hat: Thrifted from Decades in SLC & altered, Textured Tights & Heeled Closed-Toe Shoes: Target (probably 10 years ago!), Patent Leather Kid-Skin Gloves: Topshop
I don’t think I’m ever more at my center/core than when I’m painting theatre sets; even if it’s for a 3rd/4th grade level musical.
I ADORE CREATION.
